Mazda Ranks #4 Overall
Consumer Reports announced that Mazda showed the biggest improvement in its 2011 Annual Auto Survey, moving up eight places from last year to No. 4 overall, behind only Scion, Lexus and Acura.

CX-9 Took the Top Spot in Comparison to Other SUVs
The 2011 Mazda CX-9 was recently compared to five SUV competitors for the May 2011 issue of Motor Trend. CX-9 took the top spot in this comparison edging out the best vehicles in the segment, including the brand new Ford Explorer and Dodge Durango.
1st Place – Mazda CX-9
2nd Place – Dodge Durango
3rd Place – Toyota Highlander
4th Place – Chevrolet Traverse
5th Place – Honda Pilot
6th Place – Ford Explorer

The 2011 Mazda3 a Top Safety Pick
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, an independent safety organization funded by the insurance industry, today named the 2011 Mazda3 a Top Safety Pick in its most-recent round of crash-testing. The Mazda3 received the Institute’s highest rating of “Good” in all four of the individual tests, earning it the Top Pick designation.
