Comparing the Mazda Compact Crossovers: CX-3 vs. CX-30 vs. CX-5

With the introduction of the all-new CX-30, the Mazda crossover lineup is more accommodating than ever. Slotted between the CX-3 and CX-5, the CX-30 allows Conroe drivers to fine-tune their search even further. While they offer different dimensions and engine options, they share key elements that define the Mazda brand. All three exhibit the refinement and elegance of Mazda's signature KODO: Soul of Motion design language. And once you get behind the wheel, SKYACTIV-VEHICLE DYNAMICS with G-Vectoring Control provides an outstanding driving experience with price steering and agile handling.  Here's a quick look at what sets the CX-3, CX-30, and CX-5 apart.

The Mazda CX-3 is a subcompact crossover with seating for five passengers and 12.4 cubic feet behind the second row. As the smallest crossover in Mazda's lineup, it offers more capability and utility than your average car, with an easy-to-maneuver footprint. All-wheel-drive is available and, beginning with the 2020 model year, the CX-3 streamlines its feature offerings to one trim level.

The Mazda CX-30 is newest model in Mazda's crossover lineup. It aims to split the difference between the smaller CX-3 and the larger CX-5. It offers more space behind the rear seats than the CX-3 (20.2 cubic feet) and has a more powerful engine under the hood. It's available in four trims and includes Mazda i-Activsense driver-assistance technologies as standard equipment, including Radar Cruise Control with Stop & Go. It's ideal for people who want something smaller than the CX-5 but with more space and a stronger engine than the CX-3.
